Oak Parquet Flooring – Arley House

Solid Oak Parquet flooring, installed at Arley House, nr Bewdley

230mm x 70mm x 22mm Solid Oak Parquet Flooring was installed at Arley House near Bewdley. The existing sub-floors required additional preparation work, which included self-levelling latex and an epoxy DPM.
The solid oak parquet was installed in herringbone pattern and then sanded and sealed with Bona Prime Classic and Bona Traffic HD floor lacquer

Rustic Parquet Floor, Whitacre Heath

Rustic 280mm Parquet Block Floor

A stunning parquet floor was installed using rustic 280mm solid oak blocks. These were fitted in a double herringbone pattern.

Sub-floor preparation was required involving the supply and installation both a plywood sub-floor and self levelling latex and DPM.

Also a floor fitted electric point was installed and covered with a removable lid to enable easy access.

The floor was then sanded to a fine finish and coated with one base coat and 2 top coats of Bona Mega ...

Parquet Block Flooring – Shrewsbury

230mm x 70mm x22mm Solid Oak Parquet Block Flooring

CMT Flooring were asked to install new solid oak parquet flooring.  The solid oak parquet flooring was fully bonded to the existing screed subfloor using a silane flexible adhesive.  The wood flooring was then sanded and then sealed with Bona Mega floor lacquer.

Parquet Floor Installation – Great Barr, Birmingham

The existing floor was removed and an epoxy damp proof membrane was then applied prior to the parquet flooring being installed.  The blocks were then installed using a laser guide to ensure the straightness of the installation.  Once the flooring was installed along with a two block border, the floor was then sanded and finished with one base coat of Bona Prime Classic and two top coats of Bona Mega water based floor lacquer.

Herringbone Floor Restoration Eaton Square, London

The floor required a number of repairs to the existing herringbone floor due to loose blocks and damage caused during the ongoing modernisation works taking place.  The loose blocks were carefully lifted out and the floor beneath them checked to remove any loose debris or previous adhesive before they were then re-fixed back into place using Bona adhesive.  The floor was then fully sanded to remove the previous finish
