Junckers Sports Flooring
A new Junckers Sylvasport Premium solid beech floor over Blubat battens was required to be installed as per the schools specification.
We supplied and installed firstly a Sylvathene moisture barrier followed by the Blubat battens. The Sylvasport Premium flooring in beech was installed over the battens using secret mailing. The expansion gap was installed around the perimeter of the flooring as per Junckers recommendations.

A Boen 14mm Oak Animoso with a White Live Natural Oil finish was chosen to be installed at the new museum in Wordsley, Stourbridge.
The existing sub-floor had an epoxy DPM applied (Bona R410), which was allowed to fully dry prior to the Boen engineered strip flooring being installed. The floor requires a finishing coat of White Live Natural Oil applied as a finishing coat prior to the museum opening, which will be in the very near future
