Restoration of wood parquet herringbone floor Solihull Birmingham

A lovely herringbone parquet floor in Solihull needed some restoration to bring it back to looking its best.  Loose blocks were uplifted and the concrete floor underneath cleaned of any debris and previous bitumen used to fit the blocks originally.

Wood Floor Sanding Ludlow Shropshire

We were asked to sand and reseal an existing herringbone pattern parquet block floor in Ludlow, Shropshire that was in need of some care and attention.

We sanded the floor to remove the old floor coating that had change colour over the years and had hidden the beautiful oak parquet floor underneath

14mm Engineered Boen Floor, Wordsley, Stourbridge

A Boen 14mm Oak Animoso with a White Live Natural Oil finish was chosen to be installed at the new museum in Wordsley, Stourbridge.

The existing sub-floor had an epoxy DPM applied (Bona R410), which was allowed to fully dry prior to the Boen engineered strip flooring being installed. The floor requires a finishing coat of White Live Natural Oil applied as a finishing coat prior to the museum opening, which will be in the very near future

Mosaic Finger Block Floor Repair – Ambergate, Derbyshire

Restoration and repair to a water damaged mosaic finger panel floor in Ambergate, Derbyshire.  the existing finger panel floor had suffered from water damage and the individual finger blocks had come loose under the carpet tiles installed over them in the office.

School Parquet Floor Installation – Chivenor School, Castle Vale

A new parquet floor was required by Chivenor School in Castle Vale, Birmingham.

The existing floor was taken up, the existing screed sub-floor had a Bona R410 DPM applied and allowed to fully dry.  We then installed an oak 230 x 70mm parquet floor with a 2 block border to the hall.
