CMT Flooring were asked to install new solid oak parquet flooring. The solid oak parquet flooring was fully bonded to the existing screed subfloor using a silane flexible adhesive. The wood flooring was then sanded and then sealed with Bona Mega floor lacquer.

The existing floor boards were sanded back to bare wood to remove the old surface finish, they then where sanded to a fine finish before a coat of Bona Prime Classic and 2 coats of Bona Mega floor lacquer were applied giving a beautiful clean look to the floors

Junckers Sports Flooring
A new Junckers Sylvasport Premium solid beech floor over Blubat battens was required to be installed as per the schools specification.
We supplied and installed firstly a Sylvathene moisture barrier followed by the Blubat battens. The Sylvasport Premium flooring in beech was installed over the battens using secret mailing. The expansion gap was installed around the perimeter of the flooring as per Junckers recommendations.

We were asked to restore an original redwood strip floor that has been uncovered when the existing carpet was removed.
The existing fire hearth was still visible, se we had to firstly remove that and apply a self levelling latex to ensure a level area. Existing redwood strip flooring was then removed from areas around the perimeter of the room and refitted into the previous fire hearth.

Mark at Wolverhampton Girls High School contacted us to restore existing flooring in two areas by the main reception area.
We arrived at the school and we uplifted the loose parquet blocks in the two areas, cleaned out any debris from the previous adhesive used to stick the blocks down.
