The existing sub-floor was covered with plywood and then 280 x 70 x 22mm solid oak parquet from Brooks Bros Ltd was installed. Father Michael asked us to repair the existing parquet block floor at St John’s Church in Tmworth as alterations were being made and the floor needed to be extended where wwalls were being moved and replaced. Reclaimed blocks were sourced by Father Michael to match the existing blocks.

A lovely herringbone parquet floor in Solihull needed some restoration to bring it back to looking its best. Loose blocks were uplifted and the concrete floor underneath cleaned of any debris and previous bitumen used to fit the blocks originally.

A new parquet floor was required by Chivenor School in Castle Vale, Birmingham.
The existing floor was taken up, the existing screed sub-floor had a Bona R410 DPM applied and allowed to fully dry. We then installed an oak 230 x 70mm parquet floor with a 2 block border to the hall.

Our client requested a double herringbone prime grade oak floor to be installed to the lounge.
The floor first had a Bona R410 epoxy DPM installed over the screed sub-floor. The 230mm prime grade oak parquet blocks were then installed using Bona R848 adhesive, with the header line being installed first. Once this was installed the rest of the 230mm parquet blocks where installed in a double herringbone pattern.
